A more abstract piece, inspired by classic Lovecraftian Horror elements.
This one is a strange piece, and I shall associate it with the Inktober prompt “Teeming”.
Unfortunately, I’m going to be taking a small break from posting these, but I will be sure to post some more drawings in the future! Expect one on the 31st, especially!
For the prompt “Shy”, I drew the first thing that came to my head.
1st pass, laid down the foundations for what I wanted the character to be.
2nd pass, refined slightly, though the alignment of the legs and the torso is off.
3rd pass, attempted once more to refine it, but I didn’t like the pose it was in.
This was a fun one, and I decided to give him a bit of decency rather than cheating by simply leaving the page blank and calling it a complete drawing of “the Invisible Man”.
Greetings! Here’s the drawing for the prompt “Sword”!
I had a really hard time coming up with ideas for this one, despite the broad scope of the prompt. I finally settled on something I’m happy with, however, and I only included the drawings relevant to coming up with the final design.
1st attempt at design, doodled lots of things to get a feel for it.
2nd attempt, came upon a “wraith in a sword” design i liked.
3rd and 4th attempts, refined and tested, settled on the one at the bottom.
I’m proud of the final design, despite how long it took me, and maybe I’ll post the other designs I attempted for this prompt at the end of Inktober.
Hello again! This is my second entry for Inktober.
Continuing with my theme of “improvised superheroes/villains”, here is my entry for the prompt “Divided”.
2nd pass, made their outfits a little more synced, as well as giving the second twin a more dynamic pose. Overall not as good in my opinion due to the slightly wonky proportions.
I didn’t have as much time today as I’d have liked, but I think these went pretty well overall. I think I need to work on my proportions a bit, though.
